Halliburton Labs program participant, Novamera, was selected by WSP USA to be one of three companies to join its Emerge program.
NEW YORK, NY, December 7, 2022 – To round out a successful inaugural year, Emerge — the innovation partnership program launched in January by WSP USA — has selected three growth stage companies to join its third and final cohort of 2022.
Emerge is WSP’s platform for creating strategic alliances with pioneering early- and growth-stage start-ups to help them refine, optimize and scale their offerings, while bringing cutting edge tools and technology to the specific markets the company serves.
This latest cohort is focused on innovating for the environment. Target segments include contaminated soil and groundwater remediation; green mining; oil & gas industry safety and risk reduction; renewable energy generation and storage; sustainable waste management; and enhancing environment, social and governance (ESG) across the sector.
The three companies selected to partner with WSP into 2023 represent the breadth of creativity in the environment space, with the tremendous potential to accelerate more sustainable and economical practices:
ecoSPEARS helps clients extract and eliminate persistent toxins using a green and sustainable technology. They aim to usher in the net-zero future of remediation, protecting human health and the environment.

Novamera develops smart technologies that enable surgical mining of complex, steeply dipping narrow vein deposits, using proprietary hardware and software that works with conventional drilling equipment, to identify, navigate and extract high-value deposits economically and sustainably.
